On August 19, 2025, Mr. Siriwat William Chhem, Co-Founder and President of the AI Forum, joined a panel discussion on “AI-Generated Content: Risks and Opportunities in the Banking Sector” during the Cambodia Banking Conference 2025, organized by the Association of Banks in Cambodia.
The session convened leading experts from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, the Cambodia Digital Technology Association, Visa, and Smart Axiata to examine the transformative role of AI-generated content in the banking industry. Key discussions addressed strategies for enhancing customer engagement and operational efficiency, while mitigating risks related to misinformation, privacy, regulatory compliance, and algorithmic bias. The dialogue underscored the importance of transparency, accountability, and responsible AI governance in advancing digital innovation.
